Nottingham Comic Con
It’s been a while since I last posted on here, apologies for that!
We recently put on the second ever Nottingham Comic Convention (previously known as NerdFest). It was a huge success and we’re so thankful for all of the guests, exhibitors, bands, the UK Garrison, and especially our volunteers! We had a great time and raised a fair bit of money for the three charities, The Ear Foundation, Marfan Trust and MacMillan Cancer Support, so thank you to everyone who entered our raffle and bought a standard ticket – total amounts will be announced soon!
Thanks also to everyone who popped by my stand and bought a book or print, really appreciate your support.
So what’s next for Piddley Pix and Kev Brett Cartoons? I have a couple of comic ideas on the drawing board at the minute. I have an anthology book I’ve been working on as well as my first Graphic Novel (160 pgs) as The Monkey and the Mouse go on an all new adventure, plus I’m working on a couple of scripts that I’m looking at and deciding whether to adapt for a graphic novel or slice into multiple comics…
I’ll also be attending MCM Birmingham at the end of November so swing by and say hello!
